Li Ye received his B.S. in Biological Sciences from Tsinghua University in 2006. He pursued his Ph.D. with Bruce Spiegelman at Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (2012), followed by a postdoc (2013-2017) with Karl Deisseroth at Stanford University. Li joined Scripps as an Assistant Professor in 2018 and was promoted to Professor with tenure in 2023. He was named an HHMI Investigator in 2024.
